Get mooving and bring your family up to the Adelaide Hills to experience a true country fair with all the trimmings, even the famous cow milking competition… the Udder Tug.

The Meadows Country Fair will be held on Sunday 20 October and the township is located only 15 minutes drive from Hahndorf and will attract over 8,000 people to the region.

Enjoy a fun-filled day of thrilling amusement rides, exciting old school children’s races, quality market stalls, live entertainment, local farmyard animal exhibitions and much more.

The famous Udder Tug is South Australia’s only hand-milking competition and with the exciting chance to win up to $1000 cash, the competition will be fierce (and lots of fun).

A fantastic addition to the Fair is the renowned Daisy Trail. Incorporating 10 different stalls throughout the Fair, it’s a great way to experience and see everything this country community has to offer. With only 250 bags available for $6 each and the opportunity to win a family trip on the SteamRanger be sure to secure your goodie bag upon arrival.

Other highlights include mini horse and pony rides, yard dog trials, dogs on display, amusement rides and the mobile wildlife educators from Animals Anonymous offering demonstrations for all.

Each year, the Meadow Country Fair donates 10% of entrance profits to the designated host charity, this year’s organisation is the Cancer Council SA.
