Much more than a tasting, more than a masterclass, this is your chance to get up close and personal with some of the best local distillers in the biz! Hear their stories, feel their passion, taste their creations, ask questions, participate in lively discussion, and leave each class knowing more about the popular and delicious subject of gin!


Over 3 weeks you can pick and choose your classes and BRUSH UP on your gin education, whilst having fun and meeting new gin-loving friends.

At the Haus Restaurant, located in the heart of Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills, we have a passion for showcasing local produce and are excited to be launching the first semester of the Adelaide Hills Gin School.

Applewood, multi-award-winning distillers from Gumeracha craft uniquely Australian Gin and are passionate about ways to communicate this in a familiar manner and share their stories with gin lovers around the world… including you.

They seek to add value to native ingredients, supporting farmers who opt for more sustainable farming methods, crops and orchards. They value those who wish to listen and learn from indigenous culture and understand the importance of working in harmony with nature.


AMBLESIDE >> This is the second class (SELLING FAST) of three to make up the summer season of Adelaide Hills Gin School at the Haus Restaurant in Hahndorf.

So you love gin, and you have the tonic and now you need to know how to garnish your gin and tonic! The team at Ambleside Distillers will provide you with the opportunity to learn what garnish goes with what. It’s not just about decoration!

You will also learn about how to use gin in amazing summer cocktails.
