Food & Beverage Supervisor (Part Time or Full Time)

Supporting the Restaurant and Assistant Manager in leading and growing our team; you will be a shift manager, opening / closing the venue, daily operations and assisting with set up and execution of functions, conferences & events.

Key Aspects

  • Ability to multitask, ensuring an efficient restaurant operation, maintaining high production, productivity, quality and customer service standards according to The Haus Groups policies and procedures and sequence of service
  • Manage and monitor restaurant operations including set up and pack down of restaurant service, functions and events as per procedures and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
  • Lead, coach and support a large and dynamic FOH team (50+ employees)
  • Provide training and constructive feedback of employee performance

To be successful for this role, it is essential that you have:

  • The ability to work and show support in a team environment under pressure
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Excellent English and written skills
  • Experience in running and overseeing Conference & events advantageous

Restaurant Host (Part Time)

The position is part time and will be performed during school hours – perfect for anyone with kids!

Key Aspects

  • Greeting guests as they enter, putting them on a waiting list when necessary
  • Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions
  • Explaining the daily specials
  • Engage guests to ensure they are happy with our food and service
  • Providing great customer service
  • Helping out in the restaurant when needed

Key Requirements 

  • Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast paced environment
  • Pleasant personality and good communication skills
  • A position attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Restaurant experience is a plus
  • Good knowledge of the menu and Hahndorf
