The Mount Barker District Show will be held on Saturday 28 March 2020. The country show showcases all aspects of Adelaide Hills agriculture, cookery and crafts from the District as our local ancestors have done over the previous 148 years of the Show’s history.
As an annual event, the Mount Barker Show is a great way of bringing a sample of the country to the town, and as Mount Barker is changing from its former rural character into a modern urban one, we see this occasion as a great chance to reconnect the public with the rural activities, crafts and cottage industries of times past.
Each year the Show is bound to be an exciting event for all the family to enjoy. Featuring indoor and outdoor exhibits, market stalls, showcasing local arts, produce and delicious foods, farm animals, exhibitions, as well as the traditional fun of the carnival clowns and bouncy castle and sideshow alley.
